PXP met with Lindsay Amer, a recent graduate of Northwestern University who is now directing a TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) piece with FringeJR. And Then Came Tango is billed as "a play inspired by the true story of Roy and Silo, male Chinstrap penguins at the Central Park Zoo who formed a pair bond, built a nest, and incubated a rock. When given an orphaned egg, the pair successfully raised a baby fledgling and caused a public outcry."
Lindsay tells us a bit about what she does as an artist, telling "untold stories," and directing this play at the Fringe.
