  • i think Galinda was the bad guy because she stayed back and left Elphaba. also Galinda became the good witch. furthermore, she didn’t help Elphaba and Galinda set up a trap to capture Elphaba and tricked her only good friend.

  • I thought that Galinda was the villain because first she was nice to Elphaba and during the end she turned bad and tried to get her. I thought is was really good because it was my first time on broadway so Thank you so much for letting us go

  • I think that Galinda was the villain because she got jealous that Fiyero had a crush in Elphaba however, if Elphaba hadn’t started kind of dating Fiyero she would let her best friend live her whole life thinking that somebody (Fiyero) actually loved her when he actually loved somebody else. Instead of finding someone that actually loved her, Galinda would spend her life with a man that lies or have to go through a really sad divorce and then Fiyero and Elphaba would probably start dating anyways. Also, Galinda is the reason that Elphabas sister is dead. If she hadn’t mentioned anything she wouldnt be a…. KILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are many other reasons but these are my main ones. Thank you for allowing my class to watch for free and it was actually my 2nd time watching. Hopefully you guys will stay on broadway so that my kids can enjoy the show as much as I did! <3 Ily <3

  • I like to thank you for letting us go to the play. I think Galinda or Elphaba wasn’t the villain because Galinda was the only friend that Elphaba have an Elphaba was only geting bully of her green skin. They only went different path because of the wizard of of oz who give Elphaba the book and the people think Elphaba was the witch. Galinda was thought of a good person but, they never thought of each other that way

  • I kinda think Galinda is the villain. This it because she betrayed Elphaba by telling the Secretary about Elphaba’s sister so her sister got kill. why would Galinda do that when she knows that Elphaba is her best friend. Also, Elphaba didn’t do anything. just because galinda’s boyfriend kinda felt in love with Elphaba she has to get punished and see her sister die. I really liked the play and the music. It was really fun

  • Before I tell about who I believe is the villain, I like to thank you for letting us watch the play. It was a very elaborate and fun play to watch. Also the songs (“parodies”) were amazing and I loved it as well. I also like how you made a story out of the Wizard of Oz making the characters fit the specific roles. I almost feel guilty for watching such a breathtaking play for free:(. Now, I believe none of the characters deserve the shame of being the “villain.” In “Wicked” you showed how l Elphaba isn’t really playing the bad role. I also don’t believe that Galinda deserves to be the bad guy either. To prove it she even comes to Elphaba’s lair before she get splashed with the bucket. The side actresses don’t deserve the blame either. All had their voice of opinion, either it was mad or supporting, or even neutral.Overall I like to thank the providers for the tickets and I would if you could do it for others next year for such and mind blowing, awesome, and elaborate play. :)

  • I think that Galinda was the villian because she was acting selfish and weird during the whole play. I also think this because she didn’t try hard enough to help Elphaba. She also said that she had a whole lot of friends when Elphaba only had one.

  • I think Galinda was the real villain. I think this because of her, Elphaba’s sister is dead. She used this fact to lure her into a trap. Doing this is really cruel and heartless. Who would do this? If you are her TRUE friend, she would never brought up idea of using Elphaba’s sister’s death as bait. She was also very selfish and was use to ALWAYS getting to her way. What a spoiled brat. She was also angry Elphaba for “stealing” her boyfriend. First of all, Elphaba didn’t want this to happen. Plus it was Fiyero’s idea and it was true love. He didn’t love Galinda as much as he did with Elphaba, so deal with it! This is why I think Galinda is the real villain. ; )

  • I think neither of them is a villain. Galinda and Elphaba both had made mistakes and did something wrong. That only happened because Galinda is jealous of Elphaba because she loved Fiyero but when she found out that Fiyero had a crush on Elplhaba she was upset. As for Elphaba, she was always thought as a bad person when she really isn’t. She just want to be normal. Both of them was never a villain in my opinion. Anyway, thank you for letting us/me watch the show. I enjoyed every part of it, it was great. You guys put a lot and I mean a lot efforts into this.

  • I don’t think either of them is evil. Elphaba just thought of things a different way while Galinda liked being the center of attention. They both are pretty nice, but in their own way. Elphaba cares for the animals and shows empathy while Galinda was the first friend Elphaba had, who didn’t judge her for how she looked like. In my opinion, they both are good friends and were nice to start with. The only reason they both chose different sides because the Wizard got a lot of attention and Galinda liked attention, while Elphaba strongly believed what she thought and stood up for her beliefs. At the end, they still were good friends, and it’s just hard for me to choose one of them to be given the title of “Villain” when both of them have goodness inside of them. I think the actual reason they did what they did is because Galinda liked things to be her way while Elphaba stood up for what she thought was right.

  • I think Galinda was the villain for many reasons. first of all in the play when Galinda and Elphaba were in school Galinda always teased Elphaba. The second reason is that all Elphaba was doing was she was tring to save herself. Also when Galinda found out fiyero liked elphaba she got mad and wanted to take Fiyero back. That is why i think Galinda is the real villain

  • I had to think about this a lot, and this is what my conclusion came to.

Elphaba was bad in the end, but she has a reason to be really upset and evil but she had a friend what was all she ever wanted. GAlinda (I put the “a” in upper-case for a reason) was stubborn and selfish, but she was the one who made Elphaba have a friend. The one who really deserves a smack in the face is the “Wizard Of Oz” guy. He was a fake and told more lies in a few days than I could do in a year. Also Ms. Morsable deserves a smack in a face with him. She was the one who kind of made Elphaba evil.

This is a riddle I tell people when they talk about movies “Who was the one who killed two people and claims she did not mean it do do it both times, and even turns out the hero in the end.” As you may have guessed, Dorthy is a murderer by heart.

Most of all thanks for telling me the real story of “Oz” and I hope that I can show my family the play.

  • I think that Galinda was the villain because she was mean to Elphaba in the beginning while she was too busy being popular while Elphaba was treated like a freak. In the beginning i could not decide who was the actual villain on one hand Elphaba stole Galinda’s prince. But then i decided that Galinda had done really bad things when Elphaba stole Galinda’s prince she asked madam morrible to create a storm to lure in Elphaba and get revenge but then the house fell on Nessa Rose and she was killed i mean i know that Galinda was crushed to find out her prince was actually with Elphaba but she went to the extreme by telling madam morrible to do that storm. When Elphaba found out that her sister was dead it crushed her anyway i enjoyed this play but Galinda was still the villain Elphaba was good to Galinda but Galinda did not do the same in reply this was my first time seeing wicked and it was a wonderful experience.

And Elphaba only chose what was right. i also liked show it was good i liked it so munch i hope i can go see it again . • I think that no one was the villain. I think that Galinda and Elphaba were both not the villain because they were both trying to do what they both could for other people but, accidentally, they both did bad things by accident. But who I really think were the villains were The “Wonderful Wizard” of Oz and Madam Morrible. The “Wizard” was the one that made Elphaba evil by making all the animals in Oz can’t speak, so it was the “Wizard”. It was also Madam Morrible because she was the one that killed Nessa Rose, Elphaba’s sister and AKA Witch of the east. When Madam Morrible killed Nessa Rose, Elphaba got really angry, plus the anger from the “Wonderful Wizard” of Oz. So, those are the main villains. Overall, Elphaba was a really kind-hearted person. Oh yeah! I forgot, the other characters like the Fiero and Boq were good people too. Overall, “Wicked” was a wonderful play, and thank you so much for the free tickets, we really appreciate it, the Ps126/Mat 6th graders, really did. Thank you guys so so much. (^_^) ;)

  • I think the villain was Elphaba because in the beginning when she was mad, everything will turn dark and the dragon would start to move. If she was good, then she would’ve knew how to control her anger but she didn’t. Elphaba only started to be good towards the end. I think the villain isn’t Galinda because she was the good witch and was never mean to anyone.

  • I think that Elphaba was the villian. Not only was she a terrible friend (stealing Galinda’s fiance) , but she also ran away from her problems and ruined many people’s lives. By the end of the show, she became very selfish and did not care who she hurted just so she could cure some wretched monkeys and run off with someone else’s husband. That is why I consider Elphaba the villian in “Wicked”.
P.S. Thank you very much for buying our tickets so we could go to the show! It was my very first Broadway show and I loved it!

  • I think that the villain is none of them because they all were just stubborn in the play, although they did do some bad things. For example, the Wizard of Oz tried to make everyone believe that he was “Oz, the great and powerful” . Madame Morrible tried to make Elphaba believe that she could we with the wizard, and later betrayed her. Galinda tried to make everyone in Munchkin Land and everyone in the Emerald city that everything was alright, but she did talk with Elphaba. So in a way, she was a double crosser. And Elphaba did try to escape and be the best, with the Wizard, and escaped with Fiyero but she was thwarted by Dorothy. Everyone in the play did make bad decisions, but none of them were the villain. However, I personally believe that there is no right or wrong to this question, so what you believe is the answer to this question is the answer.

  • I personally think that Galinda, Madame Morrible, and the wizard of Oz are all the villain. They all did something evil. First of all, the Wizard of Oz said that Elphaba was wicked and sent his guards out to kill her even though she didn’t do anything bad. Second of all, Madame Morrible followed along with the Wizards rumor. Also, with her weather powers she started a twister which flew a house onto Elphaba’s sister Nessarose which killed her. Third of all, Galinda got the idea of useing Nessarose as bait for Elphaba.

    Reply
  • I think neither of them is the villain because at the beginning, they both become friends and when Elphaba met the wizard of Oz she found out he was a person fill of lies and choose her path by running away to save the animals. Galinda was just trying to protect Elphaba from the people who tried to harm Elphaba and knows the rumors about Elphaba being wicked are lies and of course, non of them tries to do any-thing that’s evil. For me, i think the villain is Madame Murble and the wizard of the Oz because they both tell lies about Elphaba and turn people to hate Elphaba.

  • Elphaba was villain because she made the monkey turn into winged monkey and can’t be turn back. Also Elpahaba made her sister Nessa husband or her assistant into a tin man which made her sister hate her and cause all the trouble. That’s why Elphaba is the villain.

    Reply
  • Neither of them are the real villain of the show, but galinda more likely be the villain between the 2. I think galinda is the villain because elphaba didn’t mean to do anything bad and galinda helped the bad people attempt to capture elphaba even when she knew it wasn’t the right thing to do.

    Reply
  • I think neither Galinda or Elphaba are the villain. Some may think it was Galinda but it was really the wizard. He Elphaba read a bad spell when she thought it was good which made the monkeys grow wings. Overall the true villain is the wizard! :p

  • I though that in “Wicked”, Galinda was the actual villain because it wasn’t Elphaba’s fault that she was born to be green and have this power to frighten people when she was mad while she tried to help others like the goat teacher and let the animals out the cage. But Galinda was really selfish and at the same time she tricked Elphaba that her sister was dead to get her attention to hurry back home. Galinda did all this for herself because if she couldn’t be with Fero (the wealthy guy’s name?), Elphaba couldn’t either then. Galinda was always trying to let her dreams come true. But at the same time, I thought Galinda and Elphaba were both wrong because they done mistakes to, but majority of the cause was because of Galinda to have the effects of Elphaba doing the wrong things. :D

  • I think none of them was the villain, Elphaba did do things like turning the monkeys into to bats but she stayed true to her sister. Elphaba helped her sister, took care of her, and even gave her back her feet. Galinda however, made the teachers say her name correctly (G-AAA-linda) but she stayed true to Elphaba being her friend and help Elphaba through the show. I really like the play ! 15/10 :D

  • If I have to choose who was the villain of “Wicked”between Galinda or Elphaba, I would say Galinda because she was the one who started the idea of using Elphaba’s sister as bait out of frustration that her crush didn’t like her the way she liked him. She also gave Elphaba the pointy hat because she didn’t like it. I actually would think that the Wizard of Oz and Madam Morrible were the villains because they were the ones that made everybody’s life miserable. They were the ones to make the animals be banned and not have rights. They are the real villains. Especially Madam M when she spread the rumor how Elphaba was the evil one. GRRRRR I hate her.

    • Also, Madam M was the one to start the twister to kill Nessarose and was the one to say that a rumor wouldn’t work, and that someone had to die.

  • I think that Galinda was the villain because she was more popular than Elphaba and she used that against her. Also Galinda put Elphaba down and made fun of her because the way she looked and tried to make the oz not like her because she was green.

    Reply
  • i think the wizard was the villain, even though he isn’t one of the choices. he was Elphaba’s real dad and she was green because of the drink he gave to Elphaba’s mom. everyone made fun of her about it, but he wouldn’t know about it, even though he claims he knows all. which leads me to my next reason, the wizard lied to everyone in the emerald city. he told them he was wonderful and a wizard, even though he was just a carnival magician that blew into oz the same way dorothy did, just in a hot air balloon.

    Reply
  • i think that out of galinda and elphaba galinda was the villain. but the “wonderful” wizard of oz and madam morrible are actually the real villains. the wizard just wanted to use elphaba’s power to do what he wanted, and madam morrible helped him by making galinda and elphaba step into the trap. also, even though elphaba did some wrong things, she did them by accident. meanwhile, galinda did some bad things on purpose because she wanted to have popularity and wanted her image to be good. just because fieyro admitted that he loved elphaba more than galinda, galinda got really upset and told the wizard and madam that elphaba’s weakness was her sister. she should have realized that fieyro and elphaba were just meant for eachother and not have joined the bad side by helping the wizard and madam. the madam even used her specialty, weather, to create a dust storm that came out of nowhere to use a house and crush nessa. some say that elphaba was really bad though, because she went so far just to get nessa’s slippers that she was willing to trap an innocent girl. but that’s only because she loved her sister very much and just wanted something to remember her. therefore, even though they were mostly out of rage and stupidity, galinda was the villain out of them too. however, the wizard and madam are even more of the villains because they were evil on purpose, out of their own greed.

  • galinda was the villian since galinda and elphaba were friends galinda backstabbed elphaba beccause she wanted more attention and saw that the boy that she had liked elphaba throw out the pass when elphaba was gone she galinda had said to her “husband” to dont worry for her she means nothing and was really jealous so that was pretty selfidh for galinda to do that to elphaba

And she kind of jealous and trick Glenda into wearing that hat and when she went to the party everyone was teasing and laughing at her. She was kinda hurt. It sad when Glenda died. And the flying monkey was amazing.

  • I think the real villain in Wicked was Galinda because she was jealous of Elphaba. She told the Wizard and the Secretary that Elphaba cared a lot about her sister, and she told the Wizard that they should just make a storm and kill the sister. This was not the right thing to do, especially over Feirro. I mean, he’s just a guy. You don’t have to start a “war” because of him. Also, Galinda was the one to give Elphaba the witch hat and she made fun of her with everyone else.

  • I think who is the villain is neither of them because Elphaba’s sister wasn’t killed by Galinda. The villain should be the wizard. He did a lot of bad thing. I believe that the headmistress of the school is the real villain but she is not one if the choices :I
But since i have to choose the villain i pick Galinda because she betrayed Elphaba by saying to the wizard of oz and the head mistress of the school, that to use her sister as a bait to lure her in and capture her, she did this out of frustration but still, would a real friend betray you because you fell in love with their crush and they love you back?
    That’s not real friendship.
BUT the wizard of oz was at fault to because he did such harm to his daughter, but it isn;t his fault that he didn’t know that Elphaba is his daughter. The funny thing is that .-. he wanted a daughter, but he killed his own daughter which is EVIL.
BUT my final decision is that, nobody is the villain, so yea :I

Madame Morrible was the one that actually killed her the wizard allowed it to happen. • I believe that Galinda was the the villain because she was the one who suggested what to do to get Elphaba to come back to the Emerald City. Then the Wizard of Oz’s assistant who specialized in weather. If Galinda hadn’t of suggested anything Elphaba’s sister wouldn’t have been killed by Dorthy’s house. Like someone said in the play, twisters don’t come out of no where. Also, Galinda lied to the people of Emerald City that she WAS Elphaba’s friend when they were younger. But you could clearly see that she was her friend near the end too when Dorthy came to Elphaba’s castle. She hid and saw the reflection of Dorthy splashing water on Elphaba. Some may say that Elphaba was the villain because she threatened Dorthy and was being irrational the whole time. But Elphaba only wanted the slippers to remember her sister. Galinda gave away the only thing that Elphaba would have to remember her sister. I don’t know about anyone else but i would get mad and i would try to get the slippers back if i was in that situation. And who was the one who teamed up with the WIzard of Oz? Galinda, right? The Great and Powerful Oz wasn’t so great and powerful and he wanted Elphaba to kind of work through. Oz had bad intentions so Elphaba refused. Galinda on the other had, only worried about herself and how she appears to people so she went along with it. From the movie, “The Wizard of Oz,” you don’t see the moments that Dorthy isn’t involved in, and some people will just base it off of that. But the real villain is Galinda from this point of view. There’s no real answer though, because it’s based off opinion, only the creators can decide.

Galinda is similar to Elphaba but Galinda also had did some bad things to Elphaba. Elphaba had care about her and didn’t did bad things. I think once Elphaba had almost get caught by the people because of Galinda. Even Elphaba make the monkey bacame flying but she did that by accident. So Galinda is the villain to me.

  • I think Neither of them were a villain because Galinda was an annoying person who was friends with Elphba, a good witch with lots of care but with lots of depression. The one who was actually bad was madam Morrible. She’s the one who made Elphaba seem like she was an witch and also she was the one who caused the flying monkeys to actually be the evil flying monkey. In consideration, Elphaba and Galinda are innocent people and maddam Morrible is guilty as charm. :))))))))))

  • I think that Glinda was the villain because she is the one who tells The Wizard and Madame Morrible of the only weakness Elphaba has; her sister. This is what sets in motion the chain of events depicted in Frank L. Baum’s “The Wonderful Of Oz”. Now, Others may argue that because Elphaba had an affair with Fieyro, Glinda only told the Wizard because she wanted to get back at her. Although, this is wrong because if you go back to the beginning of the play, Elphaba is not only an outsider; Glinda torments and drawls comments at her until Elphaba gets Madame Morrible to include her in wizardry studies. If you were to dig even further; Glinda only was nice to Elphaba and Nessa because she didnt want Boq or “Bik” to try and go out with her. That’s how Nessa meets Boq and the Wicked Witch Of The East was born. Glinda then thinks it would be funny if she gives Elphaba a hat that her grandmother sent her as a joke. This wraps back to when Elphaba asks Madame Morrible to include her in the witchcraft studies. This is how a short friendship blooms between Elphaba and Glinda. Yet; this is contradicted when they go to see The Wizard and Elphaba shows a sudden burst of power by turning Chistery into a flying monkey, and while in the attic of the Wizards palace; Glinda decides not to “defy gravity” with Elphaba but instead to be an “important” public figure (a.k.a a puppet of The Wizard). Even after the deaths of both Fieyro and Nessa; Glinda still remains a public figure and confused as ever because the Wizard betrayed her after Glinda’s information on Elphaba’s secret weakness. Dim witted, dull, and narcissistic; Glinda is truely the most wicked of them all in Wicked.

  • I think it is Madame Morrible. This is because she made Elphaba go to the Wizard of the Oz. Then she changed the weather, which made Elphaba’s sister die because Dorothy’s house landed on top of her and that made Madame Morrible have an advantage to capture Elphaba because only her sister’s death led to her there.
So I think it is neither Galinda or Elphaba, but instead Madame Morrible. :D

    • in the end, I believe that Galinda was the villain in the play and not Elphaba because Galinda was the one who made Elphaba angry and evil. Galinda suggested that Elphaba should see the wizard, who eventually was not a good person, and Galinda was the one that first did not like Elphaba and was the one who planned to kill her.

I think the villain was the wizard of Oz because he had been the one that had lied to the public that Elphaba was a wicked witch and made Galinda stay with him by making her feel great with how she making people happy and if shes ides with Elphaba that she will let down the citizens of Oz.

  • I think neither Galinda or Elphaba is the villain. Instead, I think the villain is the OZ and the Madam. OZ only wanted to see Elphaba and want her because of what she possess and her powers. The Madam is the one who “set up” the “trap” (if you called it) for both Galinda and Elphaba to “step in”. Galinda is just a little spoiled when she was young and Elphaba just keeping getting judged because of her green skin. Even her father hated her for that. When Nessarose died, you can tell that Elphaba did really feel bad as well as Galinda. Galinda “joined” the plan of Madam Morrible because Elphaba kind of took her Fiance but she did realize that they were right for each other. After all, they became good friends in the beginning but not in the end.

  • I think that Galinda was the villain, because she caused more of the trouble. Galinda also caused Elphaba to get into trouble, like how Galinda tell other student to leave Elphaba alone in a mean way and stay away from her, since Elphaba’s skin is different from them, and how Galinda “teamed up” with the wizard of Oz and Madem Morible. Sure, Galinda might not be the MAIN villain of the play, but according to the question, there’s only two choice: Galinda or Elphaba. I can also say that Elphaba has nothing to do with the problems.

  • Out of Galinda and Elphaba I think that Galinda was the villain. She wasn’t really intending to be one but how much she wished for popularity among the people caused her to be the villain in the story. Also, she gave the wizard of oz the idea to spread the news about Nessa dying to get Elphaba’s attention. Although she said to fake the idea she caused Nessa to really die due to the wizard and madam Morrible’s cruelness. But, Galinda wanted the fame so much she didn’t really think about Elphaba and what might happen she only thought about her future and being adored by the people. I also think that she only became Elphaba’s friend after Elphaba gave her a chance to take the magic class with and when Elphaba told her that she was going to see the wizard Galinda wanted to use that chance ELphaba had earned to get famous. That’s why I think Galinda is the villain not Elphaba, she just had a hard time with relationships with people.

Also because she made Elphaba turn “evil” because she came up with the plan of changing the weather so then Elphaba’s sister will die that cause Elphaba to become evil. thus, if Madam Morrible didn’t take Elphaba to the wizard then she will be okay and she wont have to do “evil” stuff. I don’t think Galinda was the villain because she just got kind off jealous and wanted to meet Oz

Also, she was so cruel to send Dorothy in the twister and made the twister land on Nasa Rose so she’s really the villian. also, even though Galinda seems mean, she’s actually really nice she just want popularity and didn’t mean any real harm

Elphaba never meant to be evil she wasn’t trying to act evil she just wanted things to be better. For Galinda she is a villain because of just lying is a very bad and that is a huge lesson that the world need to understand. She still was the first person who tried to step her up even though she was trying to make a better image of herself. Elphaba was not a villain after all she suffered. First, she could have been a hero if only the wizard of oz would allow her to be one. However, the wizard of oz had different plans for her while he gave Galinda all of the glory. Furthermore, Elphaba sister died because of the wizard. Both of them suffered the consequences from the great and not so powerful wizard of oz. I think this for many reasons, firstly Galinda teamed up with the so called “Wonderful Wizard of Oz” to use Elphaba’s power to rule the world. cause it Elphaba been treated and get misunderstood when she was little.
however Galinda was was a spoil child since the moment she was born.
Also people treat Elphaba badly cause she was green but if she never treat badly she won’t she wouldn’t be depressed and angry at how she is.
Galinda always have friends cause is was popular and she always get comments that help her feel better about her self. Also Elphaba wasn’t evil she just made a wise choice but during a wrong time and moment!
Elphaba care about animals and want to save them however Galinda just care about just care about being pop, shoes, hair, and other stuff for being pretty. Also Elphaba is such a kind heart witch who have to pretend she have die and be gone just to have a relationship with her love one.

Galinda cared about how people saw her. they said she saw her as a nice girl so that’s how she appeared in the publicity. She liked making trouble but liked to be sneaky about it. she didn’t like Boc, so she set Boc up with Nessa Rose , knowing that it wouldn’t work out, and caused chaos. She had to have the world and everyone revolving around her. She tricked the munchkin Bok to ask Nesa Rose even though Bok desperately wanted Galinda. Bok was then forced to remain with Nessa Rose because he didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Although Galinda eventually became friends with Elphaba, she didn’t come with her. She wanted to stay with Theiro. When Theiro admitted her true love for Elphaba and ditched Galinda, Galinda became very jealous. The only way she could find Elphaba was to make her think that her sister Nessa Rose was in danger. Instead, she made a house land on her and she died. Out of her jealousy and selfishness, Galinda killed Rose. She didn’t care for Elphaba or Theiro because she didn’t respect his true feelings for Elphaba. The guards captured Theiro and they were going to kill him so Elphaba turned him into a scare crow so he couldn’t get hurt. Galinda caused heartbreak, unrest and sadness

Elphaba was just a girl who is just born green, but hadn’t does any harm to others. And for Galinda, she was just a spoil girl who think that she is the best. If it were to say that who was the villain, i think that it should be Madam Morrible. She was the one who had cause them both to be confuse. If it wasn’t her, Elphaba wouldn’t become a witch and Galinda wouldn’t go through these trouble. If the question ask who is more a villain upon the two character,Galinda and Elphaba, I would believe that Galinda is more a villain. Cause, she is the one who wants to have everything.

I think the villain of Wicked was Galinda. i think this for a few reasons. First of all, she had NessaRose killed, just so she could get what she wanted. Second of all, Galinda tried to deny ever being friends with Elphaba, showing that she was not a loyal friend, which also proved her to be a villain. Finally, Galinda was trying to get her boyfriend back, choosing him over her best friend. to conclude, I think Galinda was the villain of Wicked.

She upset Elphaba in numerous ways without any regard for her feelings. Elphaba was disobedient, for she didn’t do what the wizard said and attempted to save the animals of Oz. Galinda changed drastically, however, as in the end she tried to save Elphaba.

At first, I’ll have to admit that Galinda wasn’t that evil, she was only popular, and pretty perky. She wasn’t evil. However, as she grew up, she basically grew jealous of Elphaba, since Elphaba had gotten the chance to see the wizard, and had many chances and advantages in her life. Galinda didn’t really have much of an evil personality at all. However, she started taking the professor’s side, and little did she know that she was evil. The professor took control over her, and she grew a little on the evil side. She wasn’t naturally evil, but people caused her to be evil.

Galinda was the only friend Elphaba had, that excepted her for who she is. Galinda was actually a good friend to Elphaba as they started to know eachother more. Galinda might have gotten mad that her fiance had feelings for Elphaba instead but at the end she forgave her and found out that Elphaba is a true friend :)

  • Question: Who was the villain ?

I think the villain is Galinda because she gave Elphaba that pointy hat, but then again I think that madam m. and the wizard of oz is the villain because they were the ones who actually ruined her life they made her seem like the bad person by saying she mutated the animals.

  • i think none of them are a villain, Galinda just want attention and everybody calls Elphaba wicked
because they assume she turned fiyero to a scarecrow

  • I really enjoyed the play alot and thanks for the tickets. By the way i belive non of either Galinda or Elphaba are the villain. I say this because Galinda was acually trying to be friends with Elphaba even though at the beginning Galinda was being mean to Elphaba. At the end they were friends and she helped her my getting her in trouble etc. Elphaba may seem like the villain but shes not she just had the power. I thought it was cute when Feraral thught she was pretty.

  • i think neither of them are the villain because Galinda is not a bad person she just like being popular and have attention and Elphaba just like to help

  • i don’t think that Galinda ,Elphaba was bad because they both were manipulate by the wizard and the old lady , they both meant good and tried to help each other

  • I believe neither was the villain because Elphaba was never evil from the start she was a very nice young woman that did not want to harm anybody. And Galinda was not evil she just wanted the attention from everybody and she sort of made Elphaba feel unpopular. But I feel neither was the villain because they both were bestfriends and bestfriends dont hurt each other..

  • I Don’t Think Either Galinda or Elphaba was the villian, they did not the truth about what was going on in Oz. Galinda naturally liked attention so of course she was going to take oz and madam murbles side. And Elhpaba always fought for what she think was right, to her protecting the animals was right, even if it went against the words of Oz.

  • I think niether of them is the villian. i think niether of them is the villan because galinda was just jealous at the fact that fiyero didn’t really love galinda he loved elphaba. Elphaba wasn’t a villain at all all the stuff she did was a plan. So None of them was evil . or the villian.

  • The villain is Elphaba because all Galinda tried to do was to help Elphaba and Galinda was the only friend that Elphaba had .
