About the Organization
Lincoln Center (Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts) serves three primary roles: world’s leading presenter of superb artistic programming, national leader in arts and education and community relations, and manager of the Lincoln Center campus. In addition, LCPA led a $1.2 billion campus renovation, completed in October 2012.

About the Program
The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Internship Program provides a unique learning opportunity for individuals interested in careers in performing arts administration and related fields. While internships are offered throughout the year, the majority of internships are available during the summer. Interns are placed in one of the many dynamic departments of the world’s leading performing arts center in the midst of its busy season of summer festivals.The Program offers invaluable hands-on training and experience through participation in projects and assignments that allow for the practical application of academic knowledge and the development of business skills necessary for a career in the arts. Interns work side by side with arts professionals in such areas as production, public relations, financial management, marketing, arts education, visual arts, and fundraising as they experience the day-to-day workings of a large, world-class performing arts center.
Various departments, including: Archives, Corporate Fund, Human Resources, IT, Lincoln Center Festival, Lincoln Center International, Marketing, Marketing Partnerships, Programming, Public Relations
College, Graduate; Early-career within 6 months of graduating will be considered on case-by-case basis
$11/hr, college credit
When it runs?
Fall (12 weeks, 20 hrs/week), Spring (12 weeks, 20 hrs/week), Summer (12 weeks, 40 hrs/week)
