Q: How did you end up getting tickets for tonight’s show?

A: (right) We’ve been wanting to see this show and I’ve been trying the lottery a few times. We were in the area, just passing the theater and I thought let’s give it a shot. I was the last name called for the ticket lottery, which is really exciting.

Q: Congrats! How often do you participate in the ticket lotteries?

A: (right) Frequently, because it is the most affordable way to do it. I’ve been living here since January and she just got here a month ago. I’ve been trying to do the ones that I’ve really been wanting to see. We are both music theater performers…

A: (left) Right, so it is important to get out and see things. There are opportunities to audition for these shows all the time. These are the things that we are hoping will one day hire us.

A: (right) Plus this show has so much hype about it that it is hard not to want to see it.

A: (left) The album was just released on NPR too—streaming. I feel like it was already being talked about and then there was this new wave of excitement that happened this week.

Q: Did you hear that NPR stream?

A: (left) I’ve heard some things, but I try not to listen until I see a show. I want it all to hit me at the same time. I don’t want to ruin any of the important parts.
