Q: What was it about this show that made you want to come and see it?

A: (left) To be perfectly honest with you, we are in a theater class and we needed to catch a show before tomorrow to write a report on it.
A: (right) Worth 33 percent of our grade…
A: (left) So we chose this one because it seemed interesting. I judged a book by its cover.

Q: Where are the two of you going to school?

A: (left) John Jay College.

Q: Is there anything in particular you will be looking out for tonight?

A: (left) One of the things that my professor really tried to drill into us is that you have to play off of other people when you are acting. She described it as a tennis match. You don’t move until the ball is hit back at you. You don’t respond until there is an action to respond to. That is what I’m going to be looking for. See that in action and then put it into my own piece.

A: (right) I’m taking two acting classes right now and I’ve been told that acting is reacting. I want to see some relationships between people.
